Developed in 2008, Nest Consulting provides services dedicated to health and wellbeing.
Nest Consulting provides Puberty, Menstrual, Peri/Menopause, Sexuality, Sexual Violence Prevention, Respectful Relationship (SRR), Body Image/Self Esteem, Cyber Safety/Media Manners and Men’s/Women’s Health education programmes and advisory packages throughout schools, communities and workplaces in New Zealand. Nest Consulting frequently contract with organisations and agencies to provide services from consultation to delivery on a variety of health, wellbeing, environmental, diversity and inclusion related topics.
Our Team is a diverse group of qualified, trauma informed specialists, educators, facilitators, & presenters who are supported to enhance their skills through continuous professional development opportunities, peer review and reflective practice. All have internal and external Supervisors. Nest also has a specialised team who work with those who have additional learning needs, disability, vision or hearing issues. Nest’s Team all work through the lens of honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi, with a good understanding of te reo, te ao Maori & tikanga practices. The values and beliefs of tikanga Māori, including concepts such as manaaki (to nurture), aroha (to respect), awhi (to embrace), tautoko (to support), and tiaki (to care for), underpin all Nest’s programmes.
